Hall Furniture has been family owned and operated in Winchester since 1949. Isaac Matthew Hall and Mary Gladys Hall moved to Winchester from Winfield, AL in 1949 after purchasing a furniture store from E.H. Lehman. Isaac had been managing Lehman’s Winfield, AL store prior to moving to Winchester. Isaac’s extensive furniture experience made his store successful for many years to come. Isaac and Mary brought their 5 children (Elbert, Don, Jerry, Patsy, and Glenda) with them to Winchester.
Isaac managed the Winchester store for many years before sons, Don and Jerry, and daughter, Patsy, assumed responsibilities. Don departed the business in the 70s to pursue other business opportunities. Jerry and his wife Nancy remained in the business along with Jerry’s sister, Patsy Roddy. Jerry and Nancy’s daughter, Tammy Stevens, joined the business in 1987 and son, Mitch Hall joined in 2002. In 2003, Tammy and Mitch assumed daily operations. Jerry and Patsy remain an integral part of the business still today.
